Return & Refund policy Guidelines

The provided Return and Refund Policy for Festivekart outlines the terms and conditions governing returns, refunds, and exchanges for products purchased on the platform. Here's a breakdown of the policy:

1. Refund Policy Variation: The refund policy may vary depending on the seller of the product.

2. Non-Returnable Products: Some products may not be eligible for returns, and this information will be clearly indicated on the product page.

3. Order Cancellation: Orders can be canceled for products that have not yet been shipped. Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled.

4. Defective or Damaged or Wrong Product Delivered: Customers can raise a return request within 3 days of receiving the damaged or defective product. Festivekart will provide a full refund or exchange at no additional cost. You need to take the video from the time the package was opened till the time you noticed defect or damage or wrong delivery. We will need you to send that video to us. 

5. Late Return Requests: If a return request is made more than 3 days after receipt of the product, it will be subject to restocking fees, which can range from 20% to 50% of the product's cost.

6. Conditions for Return: For returnable orders, products must be in their original condition. Customers initiate returns from their account, and shipment fees will be refunded as a credit voucher for use on Festivekart. Refunds are processed after the seller receives the returned products. 

7. Non-Returnable Items: Special orders, customized products, and discontinued items are not eligible for returns.

8. Time Limit for Returns: Goods must be received by the supplier within 15 days from the invoice date for returns to be accepted.

9. Processing Time: It may take 3-4 weeks to process the credit after the goods are received by the supplier.

10. Biohazard Contamination: Festivekart does not accept merchandise or product returns with biohazard contamination.

11. Authorization for Return: Returns require authorization with an RMA number, and items arriving in damaged or opened packaging may not be accepted.

12. Restocking Policy: Festivekart may charge restocking fees, the percentages of which depend on the condition of the returned product. New, resalable, unmarked, and unopened items typically have lower restocking fees.

13. Exchange Policy: Festivekart does not facilitate direct product exchanges. Instead, customers need to place a new order for the desired product, initiate a return, and follow the designated return process.

14. Refund Process: The refund amount will be based on the payment mode chosen by the customer and is subject to upfront fees, restocking fees, and the return and refund policy. The processing time for refunds varies based on the payment method used.

15. Please note, shipping fees are deducted when making the refunds as per the below slab
Order amount upto Rs.1000: Rs 150
Order amount Rs.1001-2000: Rs 200
Order amount higher than Rs.2000: Rs 350

It's important to ensure that customers are aware of and understand these policies before making a purchase on the platform to avoid any misunderstandings or disputes.

Return Policy Steps

Step 1 : The Customer must contact Festivekart by sending an email to [email protected] by sharing the following information "Orde Number", "Reason for Return" within 3 days of receipt(counting day of reciept of product as day one, so raise returns request earliest by next day to be eligible) of the goods. You need to take the video from the time the package was opened till the time you noticed defect or damage or wrong delivery. We will need you to send that video to us. 

Step 2 : Within 3 Days of Return Request - Festive Kart will respond on email with the  a returns authorisation number ('RMA'). A Return Material Authorization number (RMA) is always required, without that Returns request will not be processed.

Step 3 : All Goods are returned at the Customer's risk and expense and should be undamaged by the Customer and in their original packaging. The Customer is responsible for returning Goods to Festivekart Supplier and for providing proof or delivery of such return. Any expense of shipping will be reimbursed (for the case of damaged or defective goods only) as Voucher of same value for Festivekart.

The Company operates a 15 days return policy. To be accepted for return on this basis, Goods should be returned to the supplier by the Customer within 15 days of invoice date. The Customer should return the Goods as directed once an RMA has been obtained , clearly quoting the return materials authorisation number (RMA), Customer's account number and order number on the outside of the package.

Restocking Policy:

Festivekart could not stay in Business and serve its Users if it were to incur exceptional losses with Restocking Fees or Charges by itself as Service Provider. Therefore, we must pass these Restocking Fees or Charges along to our Users.
We request that you contact us first, prior to contacting a 3rd party complaint website. If you do so, Festivekart associate will do their best to work with you to reach a fair, amicable resolution. Festivekart’s goal is to achieve goodwill with each User’s Return Experience.

Festivekart is entitled to Freeze or Fix guidelines for Restocking Fees or Charges:

    Product must be in new, resalable, unmarked condition, and in original and unopened packaging. Any intentional damage will be non-acceptable for return.
    All merchandises or products fulfilled from any International Merchant or Manufacturer or Vendor are subject to a 50% minimum Restocking Fees or Charges 
    All merchandises or products fulfilled from any Domestic Merchant or Manufacturer or Vendor are subject to a 25% Restocking Fees or Charges

Exchange Policy:

Due to our complex network of warehouses, Festivekart does not allow for direct product exchanges.

The Festivekart Exchange process requires that we follow these 4 steps: 

    1. The customer must place a new order for the new size, new color, or replacement item that is desired.
    2. Email:  [email protected] to receive a Return Material Authorization number (RMA)and return shipping address for the product you would like to return. The return address varies, so please wait for instructions before shipping the item back to one of our designated warehouses.
    3. After receiving your RMA and a warehouse shipping address, you must then mail or ship your return-item back to the designated return warehouse.
    4. After the returned item has been received and processed by the designated return warehouse, your refund will then be processed and will be subject to Restocking Policy.


Return Refund Policy:

    Once the merchandise or products are returned to supplier of the Festivekart.com, amount will be refunded to the User based on the payment mode chosen by the User at the time of placing the order, subject to Upfront Fees or Charges and Restocking Fees or Charges, whichever is applicable, as mentioned in “Return and Refund Policy“.
 

Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/Wallets – 10 to 15 business days to initiate and return will be deposited as per the payment gateway terms.

If transaction is done by through NEFT and Cheque, then User will need to share below mentioned details at our Email ID [email protected] from registered e-mail id.
        Account number
        Account Holder name
        IFSC Code

After receiving the required information for refund, refund will be processed in 15 business days and same will reflect in your account in another 7 business days and it will be subjected to bank holidays and process time.

Exclusions from Return/Exchange

Consumables: Please note that we do not offer returns or exchanges on consumable products such as essential oils, perfumes, wax tablets, aromatherapy items, candles once they have been opened and consumed. Given the nature of these items, we will only accept requests for these products if you have received a damaged order, incomplete order or incorrect item. 
Live Plants: We do not accept returns on live plants. In case your product is damaged, we will be happy to issue a replacement. 
Size:We understand that finding the perfect fit can be challenging. To make it easier for you, we ensure that all sizes are clearly mentioned on our website. Please take a moment to check the product dimensions before making your purchase, as we do not accept returns when the size of the product is the same as mentioned on Dusaan.
Colour: We understand that colour perception may vary due to factors such as device settings, lighting conditions, etc. At Festivekart, we make every effort to display the actual colour of a product. Please note that slight variations in colour may occur between the product images displayed on our website and the actual physical product. Please do take a moment to check the colour of your product- we will not be able to accept your request if the product colour is consistent with the images and descriptions provided.
Breakable fragile items such as ceramics, glassware: Given the fragile nature, we would not be able to pick up these products if they reached you in perfect condition.
